The Amazon Kindle release few years ago, followed by Barnes & Noble Nook, has made eBook readers a mainstream consumer product. While most eBook readers offer many invaluable features, they all seem to lack one thing in common: most eBook readers support a specific eBook format available exclusively through their manufacturers. Such imposed customer loyalty may be a smart idea for the business; many users certainly find it annoying and a border-line monopolistic behavior. A new universal eBook reader is a low cost answer to this universal problem.
